Job Responsibilities

  • Identify key strategic priorities for our space optimisation program using quantitative and qualitative research
  • Partner with our Merchandising & Space Tribe in the delivery of tailored stores through data-driven space management
  • Use analytical tools to drive continuous improvement and recommendations on space optimisation strategy, striving to maximise our Return on Space
  • Identify store opportunities through structured analysis and problem solving
  • Supporting the build and delivery of multi-store programs to drive significant incr. sales and profit outcomes
  • Support the development and rollout of new tools and processes within Food Group
  • Coach and develop junior members of the team
  • Drive continuous improvement and evolve space management in line with the company’s strategic objectives

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience in relevant roles e.g analyst, category executive, sales analyst, account executive
  • Strong experience in interpreting data and deriving actionable insights to make recommendations for commercial strategies
  • Confident communicator and storyteller; with strong visualisation, verbal and written skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related subject or equal professional experience – Desirable
  • A track record in demonstrating stakeholder management and networking to build working relationships to deliver results
  • Understanding the FMCG industry and commercial processes of Woolworths and Suppliers – Desirable
  • Advanced Excel functions e.g. pivot tables, formulas and conditional formatting; with SQL skills a plus
