You will be responsible for driving the strategic and operational outcomes of the freight terminal businesses in QLD as the Business Manager. This position will go about as the 2IC in the Terminal, revealing into the Terminal Supervisor. For our airline customers, the position will be in charge of ongoing engagement and reporting at the business level, as well as leading continuous improvement initiatives by challenging existing business practices. The effective and efficient delivery of high-quality services will be the responsibility of this position, which is a key contributor to the overall performance of the Domestic and International Freight operations.
You will be responsible for managing complicated employee relations and carrying out the necessary consultation to support strategic decisions in this position, which will involve working across multiple employee instruments. All of these things help the freight customers of domestic, international, and client airlines.

Job Requirements
Strong business acumen with a practical focus as well as a commitment to business improvement and ability to deliver results.- Exceptional understanding of processes and extensive experience in large scale operational and/or commercial functions.
- Proven record of successfully managing change and implementing continuous improvement activities
- Demonstrated commitment to managing a safe workplace.
- Familiarity with Border Force, Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, Civil Aviation regulations and other regulations governing freight operations (WH&S, Industrial Relations, Environment, EEO etc.)
- Broad appreciation of wider strategic issues and drivers which shape the logistics and aviation industries
