Our Store Managers at Lids are the Lids brand’s lifeblood. These connoisseurs of caps are dedicated to satisfying the requirements of both our devoted and casual customers in order to stoke a love of sports and fashion. Our team assists our clients in finding and selecting products that reflect their individuality, team spirit, and personal taste. The Store Manager is responsible for providing each and every Lids customer with an exceptional experience, leading and inspiring our retail teams to service excellence, executing meticulous product presentations, and being an expert on our products and services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Produce sales gains, by providing customer service.
  • Meet or Exceed Company Objectives in all measurable areas of the business.
  • Provide consistent assessment of each associate’s sales performance and work within the store to give feedback on areas of strength and opportunity while keeping in line with Company objectives.
  • Adhere to current visual guidelines including proper merchandising, signage and store cleanliness.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge for use in selling, merchandising, and giving feedback as requested.
  • Ensure that all associates maintain a professional appearance consistent with company dress code policy.

Job Requirements

  • At least one-year related experience as a Store Manager within retail.
  • Established ability to produce sales results, while minimizing loss.
  • Proven leadership skills, with capacity to deliver training material and assess retention.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear and professional manner.
  • Ability to operate a computer, as well as maneuver relative software programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 20kg.
  • Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead.
  • Standing is required for up to 100% of the work time.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight for training and/or business meetings as required.
