By providing holistic and evidence-based (EB) treatment that includes family and caregivers and is provided by clinicians with well-developed skills, the IWAMHS – RMH is committed to working with clients throughout their recovery. A satisfactory Criminal History Record Check and a Working with Children Check are required for all appointments.
Prior to starting work, all RMH employees must present proof that they have had an immunization assessment. This includes proof that they have been vaccinated against influenza with a vaccine that has been approved by the TGA and protects against COVID-19 (three doses) and is required for all clinical and patient-facing roles. This is in accordance with the COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Orders issued by the Victorian Minister of Health and the mandated influenza vaccination requirement.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to the Area Manager and Director of Clinical Services at the Inner West Area Mental Health Service through diary management, document and report preparation, staff onboarding and more
- Provide secretarial support for key meetings at IWAMHS, co-ordinating with internal and external partners to do so
- Contribute to vital administrative functions like payroll, rostering, complaints management, electronic filing systems and more
- Work directly with a range of different professions across the mental health system and beyond
Job Requirements
- Several years’ experience as a personal assistant (or similar) to senior leadership roles
- You have strong minute taking and professional communication skills
- You have a proven ability to improve administrative processes and improve efficiencies
