Job Responsibilities
In this role you will be thinking both commercially and strategically for business and customer outcomes. You will have a strong technical curiosity and understand how to navigate complex platforms. You will be looking to stay ahead of the curve by offering new insights from research, customers while drawing from previous ecommerce experience.
- Support the development, delivery and execution of the ALH eCommerce strategy with the purpose of driving traffic and conversion growth.
- Partner with Operations team to effectively manage the table booking platform to maximise yield.
- Partner with Marketing team in embedding the brand expression and framework throughout our online channels and define the integrated search strategy (SEO) aligned to the overarching priorities.
- Support and implement tactical business initiatives for continuous improvement, particularly as they pertain to digital listing management.
- Support the Accommodation team to optimise distribution channels to drive direct bookings.
- Build strong relationships with 3rd party app agency partners to unlock value, building collective alignment to business strategies.
- Manage & optimise website platform for venue and Nightcap.
- Making sure the business and technical components of the solution collectively provide the outcome for the customer and meet business goals
- Competitor analysis including identifying opportunities to meet organisational strategic pillars including benchmarking; market analysis; and competitive analysis
- Manage prioritisation and trade-offs among conflicting business priorities
- Be a key part of a culture of continuous improvement & optimisation
Job Requirements
- 7+ years experience working in a digital or eCommerce
- A customer first mindset
- Independent thinking, and not being afraid to suggest new ideas
- Experience working in an agile organisation or with cross functional teams
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Innovative thinking and demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Driven by delivery, delivering on time and to high standards
- Data driven but able to make judgement calls when necessary
- Comfortable with managing multiple tasks at once
