What does that imply then? This means that our vehicles’ tools determine the type of material and measure its density in each blast hole at pit production and exploration sites. We are looking for a flexible, results-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance Team in Kewdale on a part-time basis (three days per week).

The Accounts Receivable Officer’s job is to make sure that customers are billed correctly and that the company’s finances are well managed. In addition, you’ll collaborate with other departments to make sure that all financial transactions run smoothly and effectively!

The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who is driven, flexible, and focused on getting results. Integrity, improved communication skills, and attention to detail are essential.

Job Responsibilities

  • Calculating, recording, inputting or processing financial data;
  • Preparing customer invoices based on accounting procedures;
  • Researching and investigating discrepancies in invoices to determine the accuracy of charges;
  • Matching payments to invoice numbers or sales orders;
  • Handling customer inquiries regarding billing issues;
  • Managing an Accounts Receivable ledger and Accounts Receivable files;
  • Submitting daily/weekly/monthly reports to management on accounts receivable operations;
  • Raising and sending invoices to customers;
  • Posting payments to customer accounts;
  • Tracking overdue invoices and following up on them;
  • Update weekly customer payments for cash flow forecast; 

Job Requirements

  • Qualification in Accounting, Business studies, Finance or Economics;
  • 3+ years’ experience in large volume Accounts Receivable Team;
  • Pronto experience or comparable finance system;
  • Relevant experience with complex Accounts Receivable/collection issues;
  • High level of accuracy;
  • Confidentiality;
  • Effective verbal and written Communication skills;
  • Highly developed Interpersonal Skills;
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work cooperatively in a team environment;
