You will be in charge of delivering a safe, efficient, cost-effective, and purpose-fitting fleet as the TasNetworks Tool of Trade fleet’s operational manager for the whole state. The position also entails ensuring compliance with applicable policy, safety, asset specifications, testing regimes, and regulatory requirements as well as the continuous supervision of contractors.
The position will provide you scope coordinating with internal partners and pertinent industry groups to determine asset needs and document standards. In order to optimise the Tool of Trade fleet, you will also need to examine and put into practise fleet strategy, asset management plan objectives, and perform analysis and reporting.
You will have experience scoping light and heavy vehicle, plant, and equipment requirements, creating technical specification requirements, Tool of Trade vehicle fit out, coordinating or delivering pertinent vehicle and plant induction and training, and arranging certification, testing, and inspection schedules delivery to the business unit.
